Damn foolish in my opinion to cut rural power when fire risk is high. You cut our water so we cannot put out a fire and start up thousands upon thousands of generators simultaneously. Each one a potential fire starter. Self-serving, not serving those who rely on you to power our wells and water pumps.
Terrible company to deal with. I agree totally with the negative comments written by other Lane Electric customers. Their outage response is terrible . I too had my power off for several days and was told by the lineman that all he needed to do was reset the breaker. Next time the power goes out, Im going to tell their office that I will reset the breaker!! (Maybe that will speed them up).
I recently purchased Deception Creek Mobile home Park in Westfir. After reading the reviews I was apprehensive of Lane Electric. After working with their billing department, doing a small project with their engineering department, and working with them to restore power after the snow storm in 2019 I can say my apprehensions have disappeared. They have always responded to my inquiries in a professional manner. They restored power to our park in less than a week which is absolutely amazing given the circumstances. My advice is to treat them with respect and patience and you will get the same in return.
The power came on at approximately 2:55 PM on September 9th 2020 after being off for 2 1/2 days. That only lasted until 4:20 PM when it again went out. This utility needs some house cleaning from the top down. Service is secondary which doesn't work!!
