Christmas time got my friend & I to the South Street Seaport for a tree lighting, jazz & dancing outside. Wanting a drink & a bite afterwards, we walked the cobblestones to Fresh Salt. It was packed with a lit up cool young crowd. We ordered drinks & quesadillas which were really good! I'm a former long time server so I have expectations which are seldom met these days. I'll never get used to snippy millennials wanting big tips.

Menu is changed. Food quality decreased substantially unfortunately... Very friendly staff though.

I've been to this place for so many times. Great beers that are on par with top brewers out there. There beers are well crafted, prepared, and served.

I have a mixed perspective on Fresh Salt. Pros: The happy hour deals are really good (4-8PM), the location in seaport is nice, and the drinks are good. Cons: Our service was rather slow and inattentive. Also, I unknowingly ordered something that didn't count under the happy hour prices, but the wait staff did not inform me that I would be charged basically 3x the happy hour price for the drink. It was unexpected and a bit disappointing!
