Recently had the cam belt changed on my van at this garage. The van made an awful noise as I drove it home and I found one of the removed parts (a pulley) had been left behind sitting precariously around the driveshaft/aux belt area fouling one of these parts making a high pitched squeal. Could have caused a lot of damage but appears fine. I had also paid for the alternator belt to be changed as it is old and perished but this wasnt done. A voicemail and an email were sent when I arrived home but no reply. I popped back the garage and the guy apologised for these issues (having read my email but not responded) and said he would order a belt and phone me once he had it. It has now been several weeks and despite several further emails I have heard nothing. Really disappointed with the service and poor communication. I understand that mistakes are made but the garage have made no attempt to resolve this or contact me at any point.
Martin probably won't thank me but if you have a 1007 I would highly recommend, Took slightly longer due to suppliers sending wrong clutch and had a fault after just 50 miles but Martin went above and beyond to correct it and didn't charge a penny extra, so far 500 miles of perfect driving, which for a 1007 is a small miracle and The price was 90 cheaper than Martins original quote, If I'm ever in Torquay and my 1007 needs help Martin Morgans will be the 1st garage I call
