Would not use again. Purchased a custom ring for my wife. The stone looked to be much lighter (possibly lower quality) than the picture and the description. The band with diamond inserts looked a little sloppy at one end. The box it came in looked like a box that a cheap piece of costume jewelry would come with. If you spend over $1000 on something like this, you'd think that they'd at least present it in a way that adds to the experience. These reasons combined with the price I paid is what makes it disappointing. I should have bought the bigger and better ring that was selling at my local Costco for nearly the same price. Would not recommend GemsNY to anyone looking high quality.

I originally was just going to get the sapphire but decided to have it placed in a ring. Big mistake. The item arrived with a poorly set stone. Set at an angle. I was contacted by the company but did not want to deal with the issues of returning and getting this gift back. I live miles from the nearest drop location. First, and maybe the last, time I purchase stones without eyeballing them fist!

Ordered a ruby and diamond ring from the GEMNY huge selection (picture from website attached). The price was fair, the quality and craftsmanship top notch and delivery speedy considering they had to make the mounting from scratch. In fact, the ring arrived more than a week before it was promised. The website is fabulous, easy to use and allows placement of stones in the jewelry items to give a good look how the finished product will be. So satisfied that will be back for matching ruby earrings in the near future.

Superior jewelry and superior customer service. I purchased an emerald as a wedding present. The shipment disappeared from FedEx's website, and was stuck in NY for almost a week because of a massive snow/ice storm. GemsNY worked with me through the process and finally was able to confirm that FedEx had shipped the item. It arrived in time for my wedding, and the the emerald is beautiful, just as described. I will buy from GemsNY again, and highly recommend them.
