First off let me say I never leave reviews. With this company I actually feel obligated to try and help others avoid the levels of headache and grief I've had. To start off you never receive the speeds you pay for; I pay for 100mbps and they're currently delivering 15mbps no matter the time of the day throughout the entire year. Whenever you call in you don't actually get anyone who can help solve your problem or get you to someone who can, you get an automated message which then gets you to someone who says they don't have information for you and will have someone else contact you. That someone else never contacts you by the way, I've tried twice a month for twelve months. Now the service itself drops randomly throughout the day EVERY DAY. I'm not kidding I go through two to three hours a day without service. I work from home and it's gotten to a point where I'm filing a law suit against the company for not delivering what I pay every month for; it's effected my work life as well as my family life. Avoid this company like the plague. They will not deliver the service you pay for, and will outright not deliver any service at all. No one will help you at the company. Also let me say that almost every single review possible is 1 star. Every 5 star review I've seen has been from people who leave 5 star reviews on 1 star companies. So they're just bots.
Good customer service and fast turn around. No one else gives 1 Gbps internet for 60$. Also these are local, Id much rather not deal with comc@st and other evil isps.
I must say Fibersphere is by far the best ISP I've ever had. I live in an apartment complex in Hillsboro and the options are Comcast or Fibersphere, so the choice was between a company I had never heard of before, and a company that made me want to rip my hair out. I remember when I first moved in I had to buy a router and set it up so we could have WiFi, I called them at like 9pm and Fibersphere walked me through the setup step by step. I pay $40 for 100mbs up and down, it's $60 for 1gbs. Most importantly, I've never had to contact the company since setup, no throttling, no contracts, no down times (if they go down in a area, they announce it on Facebook), no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend them, save yourself the future headaches.
If I could give negative stars, they would get all of them. Consistent outages for days on end. No technical support. No supervisors to speak to. And they are the internet for our entire community, so they have no incentive to fix issues and we cannot get another provider. I genuinely believe that no one there knows how to fix any issues and they just keep telling you they will provide support in 24-48 hours until it eventually fixes itself. Apparently there is only one supervisor at all of fibersphere, who is incredibly busy. So busy that he never called me, even after our internet was out for 4 days. Man, dude must be still be in 24/7 meetings, two months later. Someone might want to make sure they are ok.
