Spent a night in the junior suite here this weekend. The room was nice, although slightly pricey for what you get. Clean and quiet - with an OK bed. Id give this a 4 star review if it wasnt for the poor service at reception. No information was provided about the room or anything really at check-in. Basically just a handover of the keys and a quick description to the room. We had booked a package deal with dinner included for 3 - when arriving in the evening I asked the receptionist what was included in the package and she explained to me that we had a certain amount per person to spend on BOTH food and drinks. It was quite disappointing at checkout to then discover that the amount deducted from our bill first only covered 2 people. Then after me telling them it was wrong I was told that our deductions did not cover drinks. Contradicting the information we were given the day before at the time of ordering. It might be a minor mistake to provide the wrong information the day before, but to basically wave me off at checkout with only a small sorry for the inconvenience and no offer of making it right, although my clear and vocal dissatisfaction, is far from OK for a hotel that on its website claims to provide exceptional hospitality and an experience to savour.
Disappointed in our visit...the massage we signed up for is not what we got, and the pool was too cold to relax in.
