AWFUL AWFUL company with unfriendly and unhelpful employees. We recently moved into an apartment building in Brooklyn that requires us to use National Grid as our gas provider. We have now gone three weeks without gas in our apartment because this joke of a company has failed to have anyone show up for either of the appointments that were made to get the gas set up. We were told on both occasions that someone would come to our apartment sometime between 8 a.m. and MIDNIGHT, and that we would get a call when that person was nearby. I stayed home from work in case someone decided to show up during ordinary business hours. I called the National Grid representative line numerous times throughout the day to try and get some sense of the ETA, but was given some BS about how there was no way to ascertain an ETA because there was no way for them to contact the person assigned to handle our request. Super not helpful. Of course, no one ever called or showed up for either appointment...and National Grid doesn't care to explain what happened. We have another 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. appointment set up for tomorrow. It is now my husband's turn to stay home from work and watch his phone all day. Here's to hoping that they actually show up...
Convenient location. The staff is always willing to assist you if you have any questions. The only downside is when 2 or 3 of the kiosks are down when you have to make a payment. You'll have to wait in line for a little while.
