It's amazing because you left out quite a few important details of the project and have selective memory. My contracts do have detailed specifications and those specifications were followed on this project and I never said that's the way things are done. When I saw the coping was incorrectly installed I ripped out all of the coping stone and reordered new stone which is the reason we were delayed by one week. After the new coping was installed I met with you and carefully inspected the coping and you were very pleased with the coping. If you weren't satisfied do you normally wait three years and then say "Oh by the way the coping was not cut right, but I paid for it anyway even though it wasn't right " ? If someone does work on your house and you are not satisfied do you still pay them and then three years down the line you give them a bad Review ? Do you normally write a bad Review without first contacting the company three years after the project was completed ? In the last three years we haven't heard a word from you, but all of a sudden and without notice you decide to make a Review ? We addressed the Coping issue and completely removed and installed new coping. We installed a light wedge to secure your pool light because the set screw that holds the light was completely corroded from your salt water chlorination system. If your waterfall LED light failed within two years how come you didn't call our office and let us know there was a problem ? Those LED's are covered under a manufacturers warranty, but again you waited three years to bring it out online to discredit our company instead of reaching out to us. When the quartz plaster was finished you had one week to look and approve the final product , but you never mentioned anything about a problem and when I asked for the final payment you wrote out a check and seemed very pleased. Again for three years I never heard a word from you via email, my cell phone or at my office phone. If we do a project and things go wrong we rectify the problem and if a customer reaches out to us even after the warranty we give them the courtesy of looking at the problem and formulating a solution. If the problem is user error or they have not been taking care of the pool we offer to fix the problem at cost. We have a great reputation because we do quality work and stand behind any problems and I amazed that you wrote this review, but never contacted Aqua Pool Renovations with any concerns or problems. If you would like to discuss this matter you can reach me on my cell phone at 504-259-0738. It's been one week and you have not called me which is not surprising since you have not called me one time in the last three years. I also noticed after looking at your reviews that 60 percent of your reviews on Google are One Star Reviews. It shows a pattern of not being satisfied with the majority of the services that others provide so I guess I am not surprised you were not satisfied with our work.

I waited a good while, 3 years, to write this review to see how the work held up. I now apologize for not writing it sooner to anyone it may have helped avoid this company. We hired Terry to renovate our pool including adding a tanning shelf, a waterfall with LED lighting, changes to the steps, new quartz plaster, and new travertine coping, I was adamant before starting that the project had to be finished by a specific time or I did not want to start it. That date was missed by about 2 weeks. The written contract had specifics about the process. Those specifics were not followed. When I questioned it, Terry said, thats not the way its done. The initial install of the coping was a complete fail as the subs cut every piece wrong, it actually had made in Mexico stamps showing. I questioned this several times as well as poor quality corner cuts, was told not to worry it would look great when finished. Only one of the subs workers spoke English and hed been with the company 3 weeks. It all had to be removed and completely redone which Terry did do. I had to point out that the tile was being put in incorrectly, that had to be fixed. There were big gaps in the waterfall veneer that had to be filled. There were foot prints in the final plaster that he said would go away with time. I brushed as per his direction everyday. They are still there. The quartz was an expensive add on but it was finished so poorly, I wished I would have saved the money. The waterfall LEDs began to fail before the first year was up. The grout is falling out of the tile. The waterfall plumbing is leaking outside the pool. Three weeks after they finished, my pool light was floating. When they removed and replaced it they didnt bother to tell me the screw was complete disintegrated. They were supposed to remove pavers behind the waterfall and ready the area for planting. They were so far behind that my son and I spent a day and a half doing that for which Terry knocked off a $100. He said he had forgotten about it. To summarize, the coping is still uneven with poorly matched corners, the grout is falling out, the waterfall has to be repaired, the LED lights dont work in one area, the footprints are still there. All in all, I feel I wasted $24,000, because I will be redoing it very soon. Response to company owner: First of all, you did not fix the pool light, that is a lie. You told me about the wedge, I bought it and I fixed it. Secondly, I did absolutely express concern about the footprints, you said brush it every day and they will go away. You also said when installing the waterfall lights that the top has to be taken off the waterfall to change them out. I did not want any of your subs back out here. Next, I have the written contract. It says holes are drilled in the old plaster prior to applying the new you said no it isnt done that way, it also says cinder blocks will be used to build tanning shelf, you dumped broken pieces from other jobs in there, no blocks were used. Lastly, it took me a long time to clean off the plaster your crews got all over my pavers and the more you look at something the more you notice. The mortar between tiles and coping has been falling out a little at a time. The waterfall started spewing water yesterday which is why I finally posted. I never called because I never wanted your guys back out here. As usual, you put the blame on the home owner, act as though they are stupid and dismiss any negative reviews. Your arrogant if nothing else.
