I afforded Eric the opportunity to place a bid on building a porch. He emailed me a very rude insinuation that I was wasting his time if he didn't get the job about a week later. After I got the first email, I simply told him that is was bad business to tell a customer that they are wasting your time if you don't get the job and that I don't plan to use him because I found a better price from someone else and a timeline that fit my schedule better. He followed up with an email that confirmed my decision not to go with him. Needless to say I didn't get any work done by this guy, but I definitely won't ever get anything done by him now that I see his true character come out. He may do "quality" work, but I will not be finding out. Best of luck to the rest of you.
