Won't be returning to this Toyota dealership for service. I went in for a warranty issue. I believe my needle bearing is causing cyclical vibrations on the front drivers side of the vehicle at certain speeds. I have researched the issue extensively, and have had the same issue on a previous Toyota (Tacoma). I even brought in the Toyota issued tech guide to diagnosing and repairing the known problem. The tech was very condescending and would not take my concerns seriously. Blamed the entire issue on off-road tires, but seemingly acknowledged that the issue is localized to the front left. For context, I have BFG KO2s. My entire family runs these tires, 5 sets on 5 Toyotas, and I have ran these tires for years. I know what road vibration and noise comes with running these tires. When I pointed out that it has done this through multiple tire rotations he did not respond. I brought up multiple similar points but they would only get a response if he thought he could fit it to his narrative that it was the tires. Never offered to do a tech ride along or address the issue further. It's the tires, accept that answer and kick rocks. I have the part on order to fix it myself and will not be coming back.

I almost given up on car shopping in person because of the bad experiences I've had in the past BUT so glad I didn't, not this time, so glad I checked out Toyota in New Bern. If you're in the area PLEASE do yourself a favor and go purchase a vehicle from Jimmie Lee - he was super helpful and informative and answered all my questions, just provided the best customer service. If you're not in the area you should still drive here to purchase your next ride, because he is the BEST. Ask for Jimmie!

Yikes, I would be embarrassed to be a part of this store. My friend owns a supra and the worker, Toni, had no idea what his Toyota warranty code was. She then tried to make him pay even though it was covered. How do you not know what your own warranties are? He then had to go on the phone in her office for about an hour to try to figure it out himself as she left the room. He was told it was 24 months, 36 months, and 72 months all on the same call. At the end, I asked why she doesn't just add the name to his file, which she claimed he couldn't do. She then said they'd have to call anyways and that he wouldn't have to call. I pointed out he WAS the one who called, in her office. She's obviously a liar and a grifter. Someone who doesn't know what she's doing and doesn't care enough to learn. What's new from car dealerships though.
