HEADS UP TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL OFFICES - This is a sales pitch for a service which costs $1,000 per month for a Bot to run a Chat service. It is a chat applet that goes on your website and replaces the Live Chat function that you may already have. Notice how many 1-star reviews have popped up in the past couple months?? It appears that they are simply being too aggressive. I had the same experience as some of these others with the misleading sales pitches. The salesperson Evan was extremely pushy and bordered on insulting after telling him it wasn't a fit for our practice and actually continued to call me on my phone after I ended the call. I'm sure the company wants to grow, but being insulting and forceful is not the way to get a business to say "yes". The fact that Evan was so pushy tells me that the product can't sell itself. A someone who is heavily invested into tech and online presence, I have a hard time seeing the value of their service for our practice, especially at this price point. I let him know that the service is worth $199/mo at tops. I despise companies that feel like they can take advantage of medical and dental practices and overcharge for simple improvements on an already existing technology, and then talk over you into circles to use their product or service. This isn't that much more of an improvement over existing chat services, unless you don't have one at all. Then go spend $1,000/mo on this one.
Since using DearDoc, we have been able to reach more potential patients and give our patients 24/7 access to contact us. I would definitely recommend them for your practice!
Dear doc has increased Our patients by over 30% a month. Basim is an awesome representative. I highly recommend doing business with this company. Thanks for all the latest technology and staying on the forefront of AI and new patient acquisition and data capture!
I was contacted by one of the sales reps named Shane and agreed to a 45 minute zoom meeting. All of the technology sounded great, but the way they pitched me was very unprofessional. I think 5 different services were discussed, but instead of presenting everything they could do and then discussing pricing, I was only told about each additional service they offer after they tried to close me on the first service and I declined. Each time I said no, they would bring up a new service and tell me they would throw it in for the initial price if I signed with them the same day. So, if I would have agreed to the offer after the first service was explained, I don't know when I would have been made aware of the additional services and what I would have had to pay to add them. Shane was about 20 minutes over our allotted 45 minute appointment and when I told him I needed to get off the phone, he would not wrap up the phone call and forced me to hang up on him. I was considering utilizing their services, but this phone call left such a bad taste in my mouth. If you are considering their services, hold out until they discuss everything they offer.
