Just ran in to get a few guides and was stuck there for 15-20 minutes. They have a ton of information, but its hidden/ stored behind the desk. You have to wait for the single staffer/ volunteer to be available to inquire about what they have. I guess I prefer a self-serve visitor center.

not very helpful, only gave us some books and sent us on our way. Right downtown Anchorage, don't waste your time the same books are offered at gas stations

Went to the facility 20 minutes before the closed and the doors were already locked. I don't really have an idea about how they are when they're open but go an hour before they close and maybe you'll be able to give a better review.
