The food is okay, frankly nothing special but okay. Prices are preposterously high for what you get. For example the chicken schnitzel, i.e., a breaded chicken cutlet is sold for 21.75 + 1.75 cover charge + 15% "discretionary" service added to your bill. Hence for about 26 you get one piece of chicken with no side! If you want mashed potatoes you need to add 5.50 extra + 15% discretionary service. The atmosphere of the place is interesting but, i my opinion, in central London you can get better value for your money.

Good atmosphere but .... my Dover Sole was over cooked and swimming in butter, chips seemed precooked and not fresh and the dumplings were flavourless. Oh ... and be prepared to pay a 'Cover Charge' per person ... its 1.75. I looked up what that is ... ' A fixed amount added to the bill for entertainment or service' ... so since they added 12.5% service charge that cover charge must be for entertainment ... there was no entertainment !

Great ambiance. Incredibly attentive services. Great selection on the menu. And the food was really really good. Wonderful experience overall. Definitely going back and can definitely recommend it.
