Appalling customer service. I paid for my item via paypal as usual. The company had an error their end as they could not see payment had been allocated. I had to contact them after a week of hearing/recieving nothing other than my reciept (reciept clearly showed that i had paid so i assumed nothing was wrong). You think they'd at least be apologetic about this situation, right? No, customer services couldn't even offer a sorry (until i pointed out the lack of!), I'll stop short of saying the tone was accusatory, but it was clearly implied that i hadn't paid for my item. I then asked if my item could be sent next day delivery as a good will gesture, bearing in mind the item is a gift that should be given this weekend. Again, lack of any kind of empathy or attempt to relieve a clearly unhappy customer, customer services avoided this question and i was informed, "this will now progress through to our allocation system as normal for you". Basically saying no, we'll send it as and when, as normal. There is an abundance of online hobby shops, do yourself a favour and use one of the others. Avoid the hassle of using a company that can't even seem to organise its automatic payment systems, or train customer service reps to a decent standard!
Horrible service. Take a disgustingly long time to ship orders, even when all products are in stock. Even when I paids extra for their so-called "premium" delivery it still took 5 days and a customer support email to get anything shipped, even though everything was in stock. Also claim that they'll let you know after ordering how long delivery will take, like oh I don't know any other company that cares about its customers, but don't and leave you in the dark. I don't see why they find it so hard to run a decent and time conscious service when I know it can be done. If I've had the experience with other stores of placing an order at 3pm on a Sunday, it being shipped at 8pm that same Sunday (the universal day off) and then arriving 3 days later on standard shipping, then they should be able to run a service where an order is shipped within two working days without needing prompting in emails. The only reason I've continued with them as long as I have is that they sell all the different paint brands I use so I can do one order with everything, but I've had an awful service one too many times and so will happily resort to placing a few orders from a few stores in order to avoid shopping here ever again.

Needed some model paints in a hurry - as I am just so impatient. So I'm glad I ordered from Wayland the prices were very fair - and my paints arrived the next day. The postage seemed a bit expensive but it was because it was next day delivery - lots of other places seem to have pricey postage and you don't get next-day. Very pleased! I will be using them again.

TLDR; shop elsewhere if you're having an order shipped internationally. A terrible experience overall. They ship internationally using DHL, who are known for their draconian brokerage fees, which totalled more than the already steep shipping charge. Of the three items ordered and received, one was incorrect, one was broken, and the other was, somewhat surprisingly, intact and the correct item.
