Wow. The NYFA receptionist Grace is unbearable rude. I'm working with a private foundation, asked about Donor Advised Funds which used to exist at NYFA. Want to know what happened to them and if there is any other way we can get some grants to a couple emerging curators and artists (while supporting NYFA at the same time). I got the ice-water treatment. She said the people in two related depts. are terribly busy so best not to bother them. The foundation has given sizable grants to NYFA in the past. That will not be happening in the future. A shame that this one person has put such a pallor on NYFA which I thought was there to aid the careers of meritorious artists.
