Batter is visibility crispy. Flaky, soft, melt-in-the-mouth fish. The contrasted textures between batter and fish are good. The cod is too mild tho, I should have order haddock. . Also, it is a little bit pricey. It is 12.5 for standard size cod, chips and salad deal. Extra 1.7 for mushy peas. The fish looks big tho. I just feel there is something fishy after knowing the price was 10 for the same deal one month ago. (Visited in Feb)

Outstanding experience. The fish is wondrously flaky, the chips clearly fresh cut, no hint of greasiness, and the whole meal was flavourful beyond measure! Also, the owner was working and has an amazingly positive attitude. Eat here!!

Cod and chips was great! Standard chips size is actually quite large.

Chips seemed like they had been sat around for a long time and had shrivelled up. Saveloy was cold and like rubber. Mushy peas were ok. Would not recommend this place.
