I bought volvo xc90 from this dealership. I just called service scheduling and spoke w Ariele to confirm the appt I had made for the maintenance service that Mike made for me yesterday as the email I recieved did not specify anything about it being a concierge service which is what I had requested. I was told by Ariele that it was not set up as a concierge service and that it was a regular drop off. I have no clue why Mike made an appt for a regular drop off in the first place since I had specifically asked him to make an appt for concierge service and he even mentioned that the drivers don't come in till 8AM and that the earliest they can come out to get my car would be probably 9:30 ish so I had made the appt for 9:30. However the email didn't mention it was a concierge service. Hence the call to service dept today. I'm giving one star not because of Mike. I mean it could have been his honest mistake and I'm not upset about this. However, the encounter w Ariele was horrible. She cut me off multiple times while I was trying to explain what had happened. She does NOT have customer satisfaction at mind judging from the conversation I had w her today. Also, even though it was Mike that may have made the mistake, it is an incovenience for me to call again to confirm if the appt was made correctly. She could have simply apologized on his behalf and changed the appt to concierge service and I would have been satisfied but she just had to be rude. If I ever get her when I call for an appt, will ask for someone else. Maybe she is nice other times but certainly not today to the point where I do not ever want to speak w her again. Not someone I would hire if I was the owner/manager of the dealership/service.

My husband and I just moved to Maryland and thought we'd try Koons Volvo in White Marsh for the service that was due on my Volvo. First, my service credit wasn't honored because of some technicality that I am not sure I completely buy into--it sounded like more of an excuse just to charge me. But okay, whatever--sometimes dealerships are that way. However, the next point is really what was over-the-top ridiculous, taking advantage of people in every way that they can. Since he was there, waiting anyway, my husband decided to have the vehicle inspection done. Unbelievably, they failed the vehicle for "windshield wipers not clearing" without even notifying my husband (He received an email while in the waiting area), which forced him to have to pay an additional $80 to have them changed, when we KNOW the windshield wipers were clearing perfectly prior to this because it rained just the day before, and we were actually talking about how good the windshield wipers were on this vehicle. In fact, now when driving my vehicle in wet conditions, the windshield wipers are actually NOW not clearing completely: it appears we wasted $80 to create a problem that didn't exist--now I will need to have replacement blades put on AGAIN, but ELSEWHERE. We feel like this entire experience was one big rip-off, and we will not be returning. I will also never recommend this dealership. We will be doing our future Volvo business elsewhere. Then they have the audacity to send an email afterward asking for a 5 star rating and if not, to contact the manager FIRST. Really? You had the opportunity to make this right while my husband was there. Nice gaslighting AFTER you have our money. I hope the few hundred dollars was worth it. I really wish I could click no stars.... What a not-so-great welcome to Maryland.
