It used to be so good. Mac and cheese was gummy. Brisket was dry, jalapeño cheese grits were cold. The slaw was not homemade. I would have given it a 1, but the service was good. That guy should go to work somewhere that would let him make good money. The place was near empty...now I know why.
It was OK. 6 people. None of the food was hot. It wasn't cold just warm. Meat seemed a little dry, like it had been around a while. Nothing really wrong, just not anything to write home about. Service was fast.
Try the Wings, Burgers and the fried Pickles. This place is under new management and is currently being remodeled one side at a time and it looks great so far. Big changes are coming and for the better.
Local BBQ joint with exceptional food. Parking during peak hours can be a little tricky, but absolutely worth the effort. Portions could easily be split and still leave everyone satisfied.
I am currently at this moment sitting at their bar. The "beer tender " has walked past me sitting at the bar 3 times in 20 min, without even a hello...can I help you..do you need anything. Who I assume.to be the server wearing literal sweatpants brought me a hand written piece.of printer paper with a few draft beers on it. I paid 5 dollars for a flat beer...The place looks to be having an identity crisis...are.you a BBQ place or am I supposed to be in Grandma's kitchen while she cooks. Loved this place previous to the pandemic, but new ownership seems.to have opened a bar and restaurant that just walking in seems like.its still going through renovation and is in desperate need of a face lift. No interaction from the staff...almost.felt.likeni was drinking alone at home...which I can do much cheaper. I truly hope they get what they need to be successful...but boring atmosphere and lack of service.from staff will prevent me from returning. No liquor license is a killer too
