Hello Sarah, I'm very sorry to hear this and would love to rectify it for you but am somewhat confused as to who you are, as we haven't had a student called Sarah Brown nor issued a refund to her. Lessons cannot be run unless conditions are right to do so. Too much wind is not safe to teach in, too little or no wind is a waste of the student's time and money. This can be enormously frustrating but we are at the mercy of wind and tides and this year Covid, which meant we could only run 121 sessions and therefore very limited with the amount of teaching we could do. We always try to keep students informed. However please do get in touch so we can rectify this, as I don't know of a Sarah Brown in order to contact you directly. Many thanks

I never write reviews, but I need to warn others that this is the worse company I have ever done business with. They were unable to run the lessons due to constant "poor weather" (summer/autumn + winter). Sessions booked were cancelled multiple times, last minute (after the session start time). The company is near impossible to get in contact with, despite not being busy on the water, when sessions are cancelled. Customer service is non existent. It took weeks to get a refund. Simply avoid at all costs, you will be given the runaround.
It's really hard to get in touch with them and have them answer back. Takes a long time and a lot of persistence. I haven't had the lesson yet, from what I hear, once the communication stage is over, everything is smooth sailing, so we'll see.
Two of us did a beginner kitesurfing course. They handled the dodgy wind forecast very well and got us out on the water at the right times. The coaching was excellent and left us feeling safe and confident. We were able to make way more progress than we ever thought we could in the two sessions. They were also very helpful when we left some of our gear there by accident. Really good!
Very disappointed with CBK. Brought a 2hr Kite lesson as a present for my Son last October online as CBK as they never answered the phone or returned voicemails. ( We should of known at this point that they are a bad company for communication) August 202 after many attempts to contact CBK the course was booked with weather permitting on the 13th/14th August 2020. My Son took 2 days off work and heard nothing back, he left a voicemail message and called the center through-out each day. I can see from others' experience that CBK communication is not up to scratch. Hayling Island maybe a great place to learn Kitesurfing, just a shame CBK is just not up to scratch.
