Hi Heather Jones. We’ve been doing electronic payments throughout Covid for the last 3 months since we’ve been closed (weird to get such a negative review out of no where). I don’t see your name on any file so there’s no way for me to contact you besides to reply to this message. Unlike those stores you just named we’re a mom and pop store. We don’t have millions in backing like they do. We also take the same percentages as Flight Club, Rif Etc. StockX and Goat are great alternatives but stockx you can’t sell used pairs or ones that don’t they don’t think are DS. Goat actually charges you 2x for any sale you make. Each have pros and cons. Pro about selling with us is that the consigner chooses the prices they want their items to sell at so they can get the exact amount back they’d like. People are also willing to the premium to be able to see the item in person and buy it that day. Thanks for your suggestions though!

For sellers, here's how consignment shops are supposed to work: you bring in a product, agree on a price and then, when it sells, you get paid. That payment could be in the form of a call or text to come to the store and collect, a smooth electronic deposit or (like reputable places such as RIF LA, Flight Club, Urban Necessities) you literally get sent a check in the mail. But not good ole' Rosewood. With Rosewood you have to call yourself and ask if anything of yours has sold. And then, even after they find something has sold, it's always 'we'll let the owner know and he'll get back to you'. Weeks go by and you hear nothing, and the process repeats until you eventually you get paid. Hopefully things will change post covid19, but I doubt it. And in case you are living under a rock, seller consignment rates on Goat and StockX are far less than Rosewood's 20% on footwear. Footwear Consignment Rates..... Rosewood: 20% Flight Club: 20% RIF LA: 15% (DS) 20% (used) Urban Necessities: 10% Goat: 9.5% + $5, plus 2.9% funds withdrawal fee StockX: between 8-9.5%, plus 3% payment processing fee
Firekicks bought the prior place out and failed to pay out commissioned or even return existing cosigned shoes. Scammers
