The trail has a lot of promise and I'm excited to see such cool developments happening in Texas. The first 5 miles from Farmersville are great to ride on a gravel bike. At the approx 5 mile mark, though, there are 2 terrible dogs who roam the trail (but definitely belong to one of the houses). They chase aggressively and for a long time. As you go further beyond 5 miles, the dog problem just gets worse to the point where the trail is borderline unusable... certainly not fun. We had pepper spray and it was absolutely required.

This trail is nice because of how long it is! Its a straight pathed trail where you can ride, walk, or run for miles! There are no restrooms but there are portable toilets near the onion shed. The trail has a lot of trees and does get dark quickly because of the trees. However there are lights along the trail.
