Very rude man arguing with my daughter and threatening to call police and yelling at her even after she apologized for not seeing a stop sign and he yelled and kicked her out in-front of other guests. We paid for 3 night and they double booked our spot, I bet thats why they were kicking us out and not because of a stop sign. New campers were there and we hadnt even left. NEVER returning there again
This is my favorite campground near Sequoia NP. The swimming hole is great and big enough for everyone to have some space. The campsites are close to each other but there was room for everyone to have a giant tent. The bathrooms are cleaned a few times a day and there are plenty of showers to go around. There is also WiFi near the front office.
We had a nice stay with our 19ft travel travel with full hookup. The RV spots are quite tight, not a whole lot of space to enjoy just your campsite. They are also all back in, no pull through. There's a nice little private entrance to the river just for the campers. It looked like there were other nice sites, partial, or no hookup. The group campsites seemed nice too! It's about 4 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park but about an hour drive to the General Sherman Tree in Sequoia. Wifi was available but super spotty unless you were right next to the laundry room. Overall, not a lot of complaints. Would be a great place if you're planning to visit the parks and not hang around your campsite much. Also this time of year it was HOT. Triple digits.
Electrical outlets in bathrooms by tent area do not work. No heat in bathrooms and the temps were low 30's. Camp host came by in his golf cart and accused us of using two campsites because we laid our tent tent across the picnic table next to us for a few minutes while we loaded everything else into our truck. Very rude assumption. Will not stay here again.
