Please avoid using this 'company' at all costs. We got a nebulizer from them through our doctor's office in June of 2021. When they started sending us bills, they claimed to have billed our insurance company multiple times. Our insurance even called them & explained the process and confirmed the correct address, but they never submitted and expected us to pay almost $300 for a device that our insurance would cover. They likely get less from insurance so they want people to pay out of pocket. When I called, both the manager and director were 'busy' and the whole thing seems sketchy. IMO, they are scammers just looking to get you to pay for something that would otherwise be covered. Had to file a claim with BBB to get them to back-off, even though it's their LEGAL obligation to submit to insurance. And even in their response they lied and said insurance denied the claim - to this day (Feb 2022), they never submitted. PAY ATTENTION to the reviews and try to avoid them at all costs!!!
Beware of this company! I was gifted a nebulizer for my son in 2018, when he was three months old. He has RSV. Our pediatrician said it was never claimed as any sort of bill. She is allotted a few machines each year to give to patients in need. I randomly get bills for this and have called several times. I have been told that my insurance didnt go through or that it was being billed as a rental. I have asked our pediatrician about this and she believes I should seek legal help. It is two years later and I received another bill- again, I randomly get them, not once a month or on any type of schedule. Every billed amount is different, with zero explanation. Its odd that this has not hit collections, seeing as how its been two years. In my opinion, the bills look like something I could make on Google Docs. I believe this may be a fraudulent company, especially since our pediatrician has never heard of them. Im not one to skip paying medical bills, but this company will not get my money.
Avoid this company if possible. They partner with pediatrician offices and doctors offer their nebulizers to the patients. So always check what are the terms. The company sent me a bill for $300 with a note that if I pay quickly it will only be $120. The problem is that the nebullizer costs $40 online. When this finally went through insurance they sent a bill for $100 - still double price for what it is.
This place is very unprofessional. They either lie about submitting claim to insurance or sent wrong insurance information. Have been monthly calling making sure they bill my insurance and correct information and its been seven months and still billing wrong information. This is after I have mailed them copies of insurance card so they couldnt claim they misheard insurance information.
These people have the customer service of a potato.... as a person who works for Sutter, but also happens to be a patient I am very disappointed. At Sutter we strive to give the best patient experience, we are using them as a third-party and they are terrible, rude, unprofessional and lack any empathy. I was billed for medical equipment that was covered by my insurance, well patient relations looked into it I decided to just go ahead and pay the bill so I can make sure that in the interim I dont get sent to collections. I did explain that I didnt get the first bill until January although it was dated November, and that the bill was now double because I got it late. While I was talking she rudely started speaking over me, and in a very rude and sarcastic voice to let me know that my card had been declined, we did it again, it went through and she were still being pretty rude until I asked her name and then she tried to be nicer but lagged when she gave me her name. At the beginning of the conversation she gave me her name as well and I dont believe she gave me the same name, Dawn, the second Time but I do have a terrible memory so who knows.
