Well, its been a long journey to get to this review over 2yrs and many hours of blood, sweat, anxiety, and a few tears all given by myself and my attorney Lee (Superman) Berlin. The conviction machine is real and thriving. I am sure many like myself do not believe it until you experience it but let me tell you it is not the justice system anymore. Your life is in the balance, your business or job, your family and home, your dreams and hopes are all tied to it, and I promise you if you do not choose the right representative as an attorney to help you then youre going to become statics of the conviction machine and not in a good way. I am fortunate, I did my research, and I did my interviews, and trust me I drilled him in the beginning and when it was all over, I chose Lee Berlin or as I like to think of him the Superman of attorneys. Lee was upfront from day 1, minute 1 of our relationship. I consider him a friend not just my attorney. He may tell you something you do not want to hear but it will be the truth. This man knows his way around the courthouse and understand the inner workings from both sides of the court room, he has been there and done that. You can tell by the way his peers treat him and respect him in a court room. If Lee accepts you as a client, you can guarantee at the end of the day he has went the extra 100 miles for you. He did for me. Lee answered every question usually within 24hrs of asking, sometimes within minutes of the email or phone call. Him and his staff spent many hours researching and building a defense, talking to the district attorney, preparing briefs, talking to me, and defending me in the court room, he will not waste your time or your money. Let me just say something about fees here. Its a hard pill to swallow when you hear the initial expense of hiring a good representative not just an attorney. It was for me but think about my earlier statement about what is at stake. Lee was worth every penny I paid him and more. I was looking at some hefty charges, and had the possibility of going to prison for up to 20 yrs. This was a pretty high-profile case as well; you can look it up just search Velvet Furry. Yes, I was over charged but everyone always is. The conviction machine does it every day every minute to scare an intimidate you. They want a conviction not what is right and wrong there is no compassion from the other side of the court room all they want is a high conviction rate. Lee understands this and goes to work to mitigate your exposure and reduce the charges you are facing if not eliminate them completely. Lee did so many things in my case that were above and beyond what I am quite positive any other attorney would have done. In short, he even worked a few miracles. He saved me money and time. The biggest thing he saved me though was years of my life wasting away somewhere because the conviction machine did not win in the end. That is how I can write this just hours after the completion of my journey and experience with the conviction machine. I am free! Lee will ask you the 1st day he meets with you what is the number one objective or goal that you are seeking. Your answer will probably be the same as mine was. Keep me from going to prison. Well folks he did that and more. Everything you read about Lee is true not just made-up fiction, how do I know? I lived it and experienced it. Was I doubtful at 1st? Hell yes! My experience with attorneys has always been horrible, they just want your money usually and take the path of least resistance so they can clear you off their desk and get to the next of 100s of cases they are dealing with. Not Lee, he only takes a limited number of cases a year so he can give them the attention they need. How do I know this? Well, if he did like other attorneys and took everything that came into his office he could not have been as efficient, and effective as he was with me. Plus, he specializes in a unique area of law. If it has to do with sex-based offenses such as mine, then he is your guy. He never judges you nor does he make you fell less of a person for any reason. This is important since you must tell him everything good bad or indifferent so he can represent you properly and I know many are afraid of doing this because they are afraid of what someone would think of them. Well with Lee dont be afraid or ashamed he is on your side and has your back. If I could give this man a 6 to 100 star rating I would. Out of this experience I will say the best thing to come out of it was not just my freedom, but I made a friend and found someone I can trust with my life. That is rare now a days.
