We loved every experience with Matt and Cody and the Mateo & Company team. From just the initial phone call, we knew we had to hire Matt to capture our wedding in New Orleans. His style was the perfect balance between edgy and romantic. I hate taking pictures but he made me feel very comfortable in every shot. Cody was very professional and sweet! He always made sure my wedding train and I were always taken care of. The whole team captured the most important moments in our wedding and their attention to detail and preparation made our wedding fun and stress free!

Matt Diaz and his entire team at Mateo & Company are truly perfection and one of the best decisions we made during this wedding process. For our engagement photos, they took beautiful photos and suggested smart tips throughout the shoot to make each photo perfect. On the wedding day, they were calm and brought such a positive energy as we took photos getting ready and kept that attitude throughout the whole day. One particular stand out is that Matt suggested we take the bridal shots in a specific section of City Park in New Orleans, and we are so glad he suggested that space because the photos are breathtaking. We got our photos from them and we could not be happier. They are beautiful, romantic and such a perfect balance of posed and candid shots. As a Brooklyn, New York-based LGBT couple, we needed vendors who were accepting, organized and responsive and Matt and his team delivered. We highly recommend Mateo & Company because they are so talented, but also because they are such nice people so genuine, fun, positive and wonderful. Absolutely the best wedding photographers and the best team in Nola. Matt has been taking my family photos and photos for my business for years. Every single time I am always in love with the photos, the experience is always super fun, and people always want to know who took the photos because they are so amazing. When it came time for my wedding, the only vendor that I was willing to plan my entire wedding around was Mateo & Co. I knew that I couldn't have anyone else capturing one of the most important and meaningful days of my life. Luckily, with only a few minor schedule adjustments, Matt and his team were able to shoot our wedding. We had some amazing photoshoot opportunities before the wedding started and we all seriously had a blast. Matt knows my style and exactly what I wanted and his team carried out my every wish. Knowing they were there every step of the way that day, gave me the peace of mind that I needed to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Matt, Cody, and Casey work so well together as a team and that is part of the magic of why they are so amazing. They are professional, but so fun and the chemistry within their team shows behind every picture. Again, they hands down 100% made our special day perfect and we will never forget that. Of course the pictures are incredible too although I expected nothing less. If you are looking for a wedding or event photographer, you have found them. My family and I have used Diaz Nola Photography for all of our photography needs, family shoots and weddings, and we absolutely love working with them. Matthew Diaz does such a great job and is always a ton of fun to work with. Would highly recommend to anyone.
