I ordered a photo book from Vistaprint after CAREFULLY checking their website to make sure my gift for my son't 20th birthday would be delivered on time. The website claimed printing is done in Australia and express delivery would get my present to me even a day earlier, than I needed. I spent a day and a half putting this album together and when it was finally done I couldn't see express shipment option at checkout, only standard delivery that would get the gift way too late. I thought it was a mistake and finished ordering hoping to resolve the type f delivery via a phone call. During the phone call the company said that the photo books are printed overseas and can't be delivered as fast as those products that are printed in Australia. At no point it was clear on the website and I was terribly upset at this outcome. The company didn't offer anything apart from sympathy which I find disturbing, I doubt I am the first person who contacted them with this kind of complaint. I was very upset that in the situation where we couldn't see our son in person due to lock down, we also couldn't even send him the gift we prepared. We eventually received the book and I must say the quality of it is excellent but it in no way compensates the frustration this experience has caused.
