Ordered a fabricated piece of stainless steel and paid over $250 only to find that it wasn't measured correct and I had to cut it myself so it would fit. Not happy.

We at Trenton Sheet Metal Inc. respectfully disagree with Ms. Florio-Ellis's characterization of this custom fabrication. It is documented that Liza, a representative for a local builder, is responsible for the hood fabrication and approval of the shop mechanical drawing submitted to her. She approved the drawing after submission. Shop drawings are sent to our customers for approval when rough hand sketches drawn by non-engineers are presented. This was one of those cases. Therefore, Trenton Sheet Metal fabricated the piece within specifications The representative Liza, when finding out (from Ms. Florio-Ellis) the error, e-mailed us. She wrote, quote, (To be honest with you, I have been insanely busy, and I just looked at the dimensions). It should be noted, Ms. Florio-Ellis did not recognize the error for nearly three weeks after delivery. Nothing in our interactions were horrific. Nothing in our interactions were belligerent. The only time there were any negative words between anyone involved is when the installation contractor insisted that we cut the hood in half so he could install it. Cutting it in half made no sense as that would have ruined the piece. Also, we have offered to split the costs of modifying the hood. We have performed over 200,000 jobs throughout our history with a job approval rating of 99%. Liza, and the company she represents should bear the brunt of a bad review in this situation, not Trenton Sheet Metal

Zero Stars! I had a horrific experience with this company's owner. He is awful to deal with. My kitchen designer took exact and specific drawings to him to make a custom hood for a kitchen. We met at length in person to be certain he was clear on exactly what we wanted. When the item was completed, he didn't want to help my builder understand how to install it. He raised his voice and became belligerent. When the builder Brought the hood to the kitchen, I noticed it was not at all what we designed or wanted. We called Bob, the owner, and he again became completely belligerent and Indignant. He has zero concept of customer service. This was not a cheap item! In fact, I could've spent half the price and bought one online. He refused to work with us to come up with a solution. I'm so incredibly disappointed. I would NEVER recommend going to this company. To say the experience was awful doesn't even begin to relay how I feel about Trenton Sheet Metal. Do not buy there!

Never knew this place existed. Yet over 140 years in the making. Cannot say enough re: the service provided by Julian. Quick and efficient. Perfect fit for what I needed. And they offer so many different products. Highly recommended.
