I was very pleased working with Jeremy Remillard over the phone to make a deal on a used car. As for the dealership itself I was very disappointed. We made a deal over the phone for an all cash buy and they were aware of the time I was coming in the next day and that I had to drive 3.5 hours to get there and needed to leave promptly. It took 4 hours to purchase the car with a simple check. I test drove the car then waited around to sign a few papers for 3 hours! I would deal with Jeremy again but not at this dealership, ever!
Bought a Dodge Journey 2012, great vehicle. Bought the vehicle, no follow-up thank you or contact. High pressure sales people, bait-n-switch tactics. Promised a couple give-me hats, never received. Have advised my friends to avoid Lasher Dodge in Elk Grove. They take your money and forget you...BEWARE! I service the vehicle at another Dodge dealership...staying far away from Elk Grove.
I am a first time buyer. The car buying world seemed confusing and scary but Mick Roderick, Michael Fuentes, and James Slan guided me in a clear affordable direction and in the end offered me the perfect deal. Mick suggested to my mother that I come from antelope to Elk Grove Chrysler. It was worth the Drive! Coming out to Elk Grove, Chrysler Jeep Dodge, was the best thing for me! Michael showed me, in great detail, the vehicles that were in my price range and what I described to him I wanted. He showed me the used car check list that Chrysler has. This list is so in-depth and detailed it makes the used car I purchased feel like new. After the test drive, James worked his magic and got me the price and warranty I was looking for. I am so pleased with my experience at Elk Grove Chrysler Jeep Dodge, I have been telling everyone I know that if, and when they are in the market for a vehicle they need to come see Mick, Micheal and James.
I really didn't know what to expect when got to Dodge Dealership, But once I start to receive help from Stanley Simpson the process was GREAT. Stanley took his time with me and things worked out. My credit was good but it also wasn't bad, as a matter of speaking I didn't have any credit to be there trying to get a car, but Dodge worked it out for me, I drove off the lot with an 2004 Dodge Durango and I love it my children love it. I want to Thank Stanley Simpson @ Dodge Dealership for helping me and caring about me and getting me what I came there for.
This dealership claims to be the number one dealership in California. If they are, it is based on lies. I was told by Matt Spor and his boss that my trade-in was only worth 1/5 of the blue book due to the mileage (117,000). They would give me 1500.00 as that is what they would sell it for wholesale. Lie number 1. They have it on the lot and are asking blue book value. They told me that my first payment would not be until October. Lie number 2. Someone told forgot to tell the bank. I had just made a payment on my trade-in thus lowering the balance owe. I was told they would need to increase the amount (by five hundred) owe on the finance paper and they would pay my car off for me. The over payment I made would then be refunded back to me. Lie number 3. I did get a check; it was for 17.00 Not even close to what they promise. They stated to get a warranty of a certain amount, you have to do the GAP. If not, you can only have the smaller one. Lie #4. You can separate the two. You can pay for the longer service agreement and take a risk by not having the GAP. The service department is just as bad. I was told I should get the sealant (which is a fancy detailed wax protection that lasts three years, but cost $$$) and a kill switch (engine protection against thieves). The service person, Kevin, was rude and seem bothered to have to write up something that he was not making a commission on (sorry I paid for it when I brought the car). He promised my car by a specific time the next day. He didn't have it ready nor did he call to let me know of the situation. I had to call him. I asked if Lasher would pay for the rental; he grunted and said, "yeah." Funny, he didn't call the rental car company because they had no record and were ready to charge me. When I explained the situation, the rental company helped. Kevin did not walk me through the car nor did he check to see if I was happy. There was a scratch on the side (it got buffed out) and smears on the gate door. The instrumental panel and the console glass were both scratched (not their fault they say). I have forgotten to take out the garage door opener. Someone took out for me, but didn't put it back. They haven't really looked for it. I have more, but my hands are tired. I had heard of horror stories about dealerships, but never thought I would experience it. If Elk Grove Dodge can't stop the lies and the poor service, they will not be number one for long.
