They are not asking employees to mask. Could be dangerous for contamination. Now, 8 months later, the owner responds that they are requiring it? Too little too late.
I wish I could give more stars, but even two is pushing it. The store is cluttered, disorganized, and a maze all around. On top of all this, the service was terrible. Absolutely awful. Management in this establishment is SUBPAR at most. They will eventually run this place to the ground. With the exception of two or three employees, the entire staff has shown tremendous inadequate performance. To make matters worse, I just found out that one of the good ones, the young one with the blonde hair, had been fired! Such a shame wasting all that potential. I love ace hardware, I do, but I can no longer support a store that shows such a lack of judgement. I will be taking my business to Home Depot from now on.

Helpful employees. Showed gentlemen what I was looking for walked me to aisle and showed exact spot where items were.
It is our policy to wear masks properly and deliver great service. I will address these issues with our staff to get back to providing helpful service.

Two issues with this establishment, one very serious, one less serious - just a case of poor customer service. Significant issue first. The store management and employees do not take appear to take the importance of wearing face covering (masks) seriously. A manager with his mask down on his chin, many other employees with noses protruding above their masks?? I felt safer sky diving for the first time than I feel walking into this store right now. I do not know if this is a political statement or simply ignorance of the potential consequences. I DO know that I'm never going back into that establishment to find out. The less significant issue...I bought a number of LED light bulbs a few weeks ago, one of them failed (burned out?) after being in use for just one month. The package promises a life of 17 years - I would settle for 15 years, even 12 years but one month??? I spoke with Howard, a manager, about a replacement bulb. Howard committed the classic customer service error, he blamed the customer for the problem. "Oh, your fixture must have a short", "the fixture must not be wired correctly", etc. Really? The somewhat high-end fixture has been in use for ten years and has never ruined a light bulb before. I left him with the bad bulb as I left the store.
