This is not the Asprey us old customers knew and trusted. I have spent hundreds of thousands with them over my lifetime. I now find both the quality of the product and service To be unbearable! When Asprey was in trump tower we bought many wonderful british made briefcases from them bother as gifts and for myself .the quality of english leather goods is the best . I expected to find more of the same at the madison ave store . Instead,there was a choice of 2 briefcases,both made in Italy . The travel bags and accessories were also made ub Italy . There are many leather goods manufacturers in england and it certainly is not necessary to source them from Italy. Being that asprey has such a long and impressive british heritage,it's absurd to sell these Italian made products. You can't ev en co.pare the quality between the two-three goods made in England use a bridle hide leather which ages wonderfully . The Italian cases use a glazed or coated leather which shows every scratch and does not wear anywhere as well . You will find british briefcases that are still in use after 30 and 40 years .asprey decision to abandon the quite and selection of these cases that they used to carry simply makes no sense . Asprey is considered the Cartier of England and these leather goods do not measure up

Lovely staff and the products are from the wonderful Asprey in London, an iconic British brand. They make a lot of their products in the store in London in Mayfair. A must visit!
