Michelle, We are sorry that you had a less than ideal experience at the zoo during your last visit. We are currently taking measures to protect our birds from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). Because of this, many of our birds are either being held indoors or in altered exhibits. While this does indeed impact the visitor experience, we appreciate people understanding that the health and well-being of our animals is our first priority.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit to Cosley Zoo. The processing fee for admission tickets is charged by our third-party ticketing system and is not something that is within our power to change. Cosley Zoo is home to more than 50 species of animals; however, some of our birds are currently being housed indoors as we are currently taking measures to protect the birds from Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI). While this does indeed impact the visitor experience, we appreciate people understanding that the health and well-being of our animals is our first priority.

It's bad enough they charge you 9 dollars for admission but then charge a 2 dollar service fee per ticket is ridiculous. All to see 5 animals and stay maybe 20 minutes. Wouldn't go for free that's how bad it is. You can see more animals walking around a forest preserve

Its an Ok Zoo, not a lot of variety animals , but its an zoo ok for kids between 2-4 years old.
