Attempting to sell a $2k computer for $3k. As much as I like supporting small businesses, these folks aren't competitive at all. I understand making a profit, but when you can buy for substantially less online then what's the point?
Scalping graphics cards. Originally talked to sales associate to purchase a EVGA 3080 TI graphics card for $1599 ($200 over MSRP) which I agreed to. Called back and they said they have to sell it for $1,899 due to shipping costs! Your telling me it cost an additional $300 for shipping? I even said to the guy that those are above scalper prices and he agreed! Lol guess I'll just buy one off eBay or Facebook for $1800.
Charles built me a custom PC and it's great! Had to take it back because it was getting too hot initially, but he had warned me that could be a possibility. We found a cooling solution and he got it installed in a day. Now I have no issues at all, and I know where to go if I need any upgrades in the future. Thanks!
Horrible business practices. Scalping graphics cards and selling them for nearly double the price. $500-$600 GPU they're trying to sell for $900. You'd think they'd want to get new customers but I guess they would rather rip people off. And before you try and say you have the only cards in the state, what else do you expect when you charge $900????? Price gouging is unethical I don't care how limited stock is!
