This rating is based on our experience with the office staff, not the Doctors at this location. This was my families 2nd time to this office, hoping the office staff experience would be better. Well, NO. Everytime i have spoke with someone from this office, via phone, or even in the office the day of the appointments, the office staff is rude and disrespectful. They speak to me as if i am dumb. They are impolite when speaking to me. Because of this, as much as we like Dr Buck, we are looking for a new eye Doctor. If i could just go in to the office for an appointment and deal with Dr Buck only, we would stay as patients.
Awful feeling after coming back!! The stuff were frigid and no smile,no any magic words at all. They were not willing to tell you what you want to know. No more eyeglasses from there. No recommendation to anyone!!!
After having a bad experience with another Optometrist (office closed down, but still called me to confirm I was coming for my appointment - so I showed up to an empty office), Dr. Waldron's office fit me in same day. The Dr. was thorough in his assessment, patient and detailed in his explanations and accommodating based on my concerns over my contact issues. There were a few things that would improve the experience e.g., assistants that are a little more knowledgeable in the equipment and tests being performed, and visually wiping down the equipment with disinfectant wipes so that I know it was done - but overall a good experience. Would recommend to others.
I will say I enjoyed my first visit to this office. Almost all the staff was friendly and the care from the doctor was great. I really felt like I mattered and wasn't just a number. However, during my time spent in the office I noticed a few things that I feel should be pointed out. First of all, the young lady at the front desk with the shorter hair seemed very agitated. I witnessed her puff out air and put her hands on her face a few times. This seems unprofessional to me. Secondly, the nurse or the assistant that brought me back for my exam, the African american woman, seemed as if she had an attitude the entire time. She slammed the exam room door closed and when she was talking to me I could hardly understand her questions because she was not speaking clearly. Highly unprofessional! Also when one of her coworkers knocked on the door to get some kind of tool out of the room she gave her a nasty attitude as well and she even said, "the people I work with" and let out a sigh and shook her head. I'm sorry but I do not want to work with those two again. If you come here for an eye exam make sure to stay away from the short haired girl up front!
