Prior to last year, I had plenty of HSA $$ to spend and had pleasant experiences at Focus. Last year I had to be more thrifty, and when I declined the add-on charges like anti-glare glass lenses for my new prescription, that prescription was revoked. I wished I had been told up front that the prescription would require anti-glare and why, because that might have prepared me to shell out extra $ out-of-pocket, but something didnt sit well with me about the way it unfolded if it were no problem to take away the prescription, maybe I didnt really need it to begin with? Another negative last year was that the letters were shaking on the wall, making it difficult to see them, but Dr. Ho said it was just the air conditioner vibrating the projector and not to worry about the shaking. This didn't seem right to me since the shaking of the projector was affecting my ability to read the letters. This year I am keeping my OPTions open for a new place.

Focus Vision is a private practice, we normally don't compete with optical chains and we don't have any eye care program in place like America's Best. However, we do have special promotions from time to time. We can offer you a comprehensive eye exam for $59, our regular price is $85, that's a saving of $26. I hope you are giving us a second chance to see how nice and professional we are in person.

I called Thursday , October 18 2018 around 12-1 pm. I called to ask a simple question about your eye care program and the lady was just so rude like she didnt feel like answering my questions. I was thinking about coming here but after that phone call I rather not , Ill stay over at Americas best.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. Dr. Ho took time to explain each part of the exam with extensive knowledge and also makes you feel at ease during the exam.

Please avoid them. They don't let you know about what you will actually get from your insurance and instead suggest their own tests, saying that it is their policy. They try to grab more money as much as they can and always make fun and behave rude, when you try to explain.
