I have an Inverness that was custom ordered from CSMC. The first gun was a debacle! Sent it back, and got the same debacle back, even after telling Adam not to send the same receiver back to me. The final return they replaced the receiver and barrels, only to have the chamber of the barrels look like a 20 year old had a fun time with a Dremel on them. I gave up after that and just kept the gun. Now I have to send it to someone to have a spring fixed, because after two boxes of shells, it wont eject the bottom barrel. As much as Id love to buy an A-10 from them, I wont because their quality control is atrocious.
Ordered a leather gun slip. The order wasn't processed for months 'til we called and they finally found it in the system. Mailed out a damaged, used slip. I returned the item, and, in fairness, they sent out a second one promptly, but it also has scuffs and marks on it. So, all in all, this just wasn't a good experience.
You cant visit the store unless you have your mind made up and committed to buying a particular gun before an appointment. No browsing allowed! This is an object lesson on how to destroy your brand and discourage customers from doing business with your firm. Based on other comments, the customer service is underwhelming. Lots of other market options.
