For the price theyre asking, definitely NOT worth it its like a joe exotic type thing a lot of animals are missing, small, DONT waste your money here ! Very over priced for the 5 animals they do have

We called Thursday morning to make sure the zoo was open. The person on the phone confirmed the hours and we left from Buda. When we arrived at the zoo, we were shocked to find that there were hundreds of school kids from several different schools having a field trip. No one told us this was happening today, which would've been helpful information to have. We ended up just leaving because our baby wasn't going to be able to see much with all the people. I'm happy the school kids get to see the animals, but perhaps the zoo staff can improve providing information to the public about events like this. A disappointing first impression, but we've learned to double check when we try to visit next time.

it is definitely not as big as Houston zoo, Many rescued animals. But my boys, 9 & 11, still have a good time. Just need to make sure you pack lunch with you. We got serendipity rewards after kids finished the scavenge hunt of the movie, The Secrets of Dumbledore. Everyone is happy :)
