Nice Hotel.... Rooms are tiny, it's even a struggle to make tea in the corner ....But downstairs has lots of lovely sitting areas (Where u pay for tea)

Overpriced with poor standards It was a disappointing experience.we just stayed at this hotel for 1 night.we looked for a hotel near to train station. It's in a decent location but nothing to rave about.our room on the top floor and our window only had a view of large building you couldn't see anything else. The room was quite small than expected.Not even a phone in the room to call reception.if you need anything they have to walk down there. Key card didn't work. Our check out time was 12 noon.but v extended for 3 more hours. While we were inside the room the cleaner unknowingly straightaway came into the room without knocking the door.it was an awful experience for us.the reception staff they didn't give proper information thtsy they came inside the room it was not the cleaners mistake. The staffs should have given proper information to them. For the price we would not recommend this hotel anyone.there are many choices of hotels nearby.

Fantastic central location 2 mins walk from the train station. Rooms a little small but a big comfortable bed perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay. Very clean and modern throughout. Wouldn't hesitate staying again.

tl;dr rude staff, small and dirty rooms, denied early check in Got tickets for the United game one day before and booked this hotel since it was the cheapest one available. We tried calling them before booking to check if they provide an early check in but they didnt answer. We decided to go ahead and book it and then show up at the hotel and request them. The kick off was at 3 PM and we got to Manchester at 10 AM. We reached the hotel in 5 minutes as its right in front of the Piccadilly station. When we went to the front desk, a lot of guests were checking out. We asked them if they can check us in early and the lady rudely said they cant because their check in time is 3 PM. We said since there are people checking out now, we can come back in an hour to check in and she replied we need to clean the rooms so we cant give them to you before 3 PM. Who cleans the rooms for 5 hours?! We came back an hour later and requested again, they said they cant give us rooms before 3 PM so we gave them our bags to hold on to and headed to the game. The rooms turned out to be really small and not worth the money at all. The shower pressure was terrible, water was trickling down. Also most worryingly, there were a pair of dirty socks in the room even after cleaning it for 5 hours!!! Never coming back here. Just going to plan ahead and get a nicer hotel. The rooms dont include breakfast so it would end up being the same as the other hotels anyway.
