Hi there Jessica, thanks for your review and thoughts on our product. The glass we use in our Glass Lunch Bowl / Pot products is Borosilicate, a very lightweight but strong and durable glass. We're sorry you feel it's too thin, but we wanted to create something that was different to the very heavy glass products already on the market. The wood fibre base offers great protection to the glass too, and with the stainless steel lid is also 100% leak proof. Thanks, Black+Blum

This company is a nightmare. They sell a product call Box Appetite, but when you need a spare seal it is not called Box Appetite and they tell you to throw away the wrong seals they have sent you. After many emails they inform you that they have some spare seals but you need to pay 2.60 p&p after having sent a second order of the wrong seals free of charge. So far I have spent nearly 3 hours trying to sort this out and I still have a leaking box.

I discovered this design team back in 2005 and over the years have bought practically everything they make. So we'll thought out and functional whilst aesthetically pleasing. Great custoner service. I recommendon't this label if you like your household stuff strictly functional and good looking whilst at it.

The stainless steel lunch box is the best! Its more fun taking out my lunch now because it looks so delish in this lunchbox. The customer service was really great too :)
