Our youngest daughter was really struggling in traditional High School. When we decided to home school her so she would have the extra time, help and support she needed, we struggled a bit with curriculum etc.. And then we found Citizens. Citizens High School allows her to learn and work at her own pace (a big deal for her!), and still get her diploma in timely manner. We supplement their curriculum with life skills and learning experiences at home and in the community and it's working very well for her. Since leaving public high school and starting with Citizens, not only have her grades improved, but her self esteem has soared!!! She's happier and that makes for a very happy mom & dad too!!! Traditional high school works well for a lot of kids and it worked well for our older 3 kids, but for kids like our youngest, who needed that "little bit extra time at a slower pace," Citizens High School has been a lifesaver!

I started attending Citizens' by a recommendation from an acquaintance. And I am really grateful to him because his reccomendation saved my life, I can say. The program we are following is just awesome and it was organized professionally. Also, it's easy to complete. The textbooks doesn't stress me out, on the contrary I read them to relax myself. The last but not the least it's very cheap compared to other private high schools.

I Love the courses that Citizens High School offers for a high school diploma. My older son took a few courses & then got impatient & got his GED. I am planning on starting early & getting a diploma for my 13 year old. I love the flexibility of taking a course at your own pace. This is perfect if you want to start your student early in a subject that they are strong in & above grade level. I like the fact that most of the course work is not on the Internet because it is just too tempting for most kids to start playing games while you are not watching when their school is on the Internet. Hopefuuly I will be ordering a course soon after the Holidays.

I couldn't imagine that I, a Russian girl, could study in an American High School and get an American High School Diploma. My parents and I moved from Dominican Republic, where I've been studying for 4,5 years in English, back to Russia. My dad didn't want me to lose the language and to have a Russian High School Diploma, so he found Citizens' High School. I am thankful to this school for letting me to study here, I am proud of myself that I made through a home-school because it is a big responsibility. Thank YOU Citizens' High School for this opportunity, thank you!
