Bought a 3,000 dollar bike that constantly breaks while operating because of bad design. They won't fix it and don't care if you get hurt, the worst scam business since 3 card monte. The founder will even email you to tell you he cares then scammed me for another part that didn't work. " My name is Boris Mordkovich and Im the co-founder here at EVELO. My team has forwarded your communication to me and I just wanted to personally reach out. I also wanted to apologize for the frustration and challenges you are experiencing right now."
I understand people make mistakes. However instead of acknowledging the mistake telling the employee that sent 2 customers the wrong order this week alone, to slow down, wake up, or whatever. I get attitude from David in customer service at Evelo who tells Me he doesnt know what happened. I tell him I know exactly what happened you have the wrong person in the wrong place doing the wrong job he tells me Ill have to disagree with you. And that the person that made the mistake has been with them for years. This person that never makes mistakes thats been with them for years apparently sent the wrong bike to me and the wrong bike to somebody else so thats two mistakes in one day. Yet he Never makes mistakes? He has one job to do, send The right bike to the right person. And again its not about the mistake its about acknowledging that was a mistake and finding out exactly what happened so it doesnt happen again. Disagree all you want David yet this person that never makes mistakes made two mistakes this week! I ordered a 4K, Yes, $4000.00 Bike step through so I could ride, I received a DELTA. Because of physical challenges I cannot get onto the DELTA. Frustrating to say the Least! Now its up to me to find somebody to Repack the Wrong Bike. And the Aurora Limited that I already paid for, May or May not be in stock, while on the phone David couldn't tell via his computer weather or not the Bike I PAID FOR is in Stock! Great System. If you only knew what sacrifice I have made for this purchase to be made!
I ride a Evelo Delta, wife rides a evelo Aurora Limite. This is my wife's third Ebike my 4th and our first Evelo. I bought the Delta over a year ago. The nuvinci bicycle transmission is a game changer. I never had a bicycle cassette sprocket system, work very well on a Ebike. The nuvinci bicycle transmission solves all of that. Mid drive is the only way to go in my opinion because power from motor goes through transmission, stronger, better balance. Hub mounted motor always broke spokes. Center mounted like the delta has never had that problem, and the thicker spokes are necessary. It's that much more powerful. The Delta is a lot of fun. I ride motorcycles, a BMW 1300 GT. I rode motorcycles 50 years. I enjoy the delta more, than the motorcycle.
We recently purchased two electric bikes from Evelo - the Galaxy 500 and the Compass Trike. In 2 months I managed to log over 300 miles on my bike, and my wife has nearly 200 miles on her trike. Even though both are well-built with quality parts, each had minor issues at the outset. Evelo service was fantastic. They responded so quickly with excellent advice and support. They shipped a new part for my bike and paid to have a local service shop install it. My wife's trike just needed a slight adjustment, and again it was covered quickly without question. We are very pleased with our purchases.
