I was sold a car that was unsafe to drive and this was not reported on the Wisconsin Buyers Guide. The inspection information I was given was false and deceptive and did not represent the condition of the car. Lot 51 Auto has declined to help remedy the problem. I DO NOT recommend buying a car from Lot 51 Auto.
Horrible experience! We test drove a car and were very close to purchasing when we realized the owners intentionally didn't give us page 4 of the carfax report. When I called them about it, they lied, got defensive and said "we aren't even obligated to give you a carfax. That is a courtesy we provide." I asked to see the missing page and the owner then said he didn't want to do business with me! I told him I would be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and leaving a negative review. Magically, the very next day numerous 5 star reviews were posted on Google and one with the BBB. They were clearly fake and with several written by people that aren't even in the Dane County area. Some were even in other states and out of the country. DO NOT trust this place!!!
I had a good experience purchasing a car with them. The owner is friendly and prices are fair. It is a minority owned business and their prices are very reasonable.
My husband and I were looking for a mini van. We came across lot 51 auto sales and talked with Zain. He helped us every step of the way and made it easy for us. We were approved and had all of the paperwork ready to go. We drove an hour just to go to purchase from the. Scott is also an awesome guy and he to had helped us. Keeping us informed with everything. Our mini van runs amazing and its perfect for our growing family. Now we are ready for our little one to arrive! I will definitely be back if Im in the market for a new car! Thank you so much.
Most of the 5 star reviews on Google are from fake/bot accounts which aren't actual customers. 2 of them are even from 1 of the owners posing as a "satisfied customer." While inquiring about a 2013 Hyndai Sonata, they provided us a modified copy of a CarFax report which was missing a key page. We didn't catch it until we got home and looked closer. It seemed clearly intentional since the other pages were 2-sided color and the one page in question was 1 sided B&W skipping a page number. The missing info would have covered between 40k-60k miles worth of records. Research on this make/model indicated potentially serious issues and recalls, so...important. When we requested the missing page, they said their printer was having issues. That seemed to be a lie based on the B&W single page amidst the color 2-sided pages. Their response to us was that they aren't required to provide us a CarFax report, further defensiveness, excuses, and telling us they didn't want to do business with us. AVOID!
