Hi Tony, were sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at Sonnys Place. Unfortunately yes, this past weekend our adult laser tag night did sell out prior to the start of the event. At that point, we are unable to sell additional tickets. This event, as stated online, encourages you to purchase tickets ahead of time through our online store because they are limited, And commonly sell out for this event. Unfortunately, once tickets are sold out we are not able to sell more. Again, we apologize for your negative experience, and hope you reconsider joining us for our next adult event.

Went to adult Lazer tag a few weeks ago and had fun. When I found out there would be one more for the season scheduled for last night I spent 2 weeks inviting friends, family and coworkers. I felt you got a lot of value for $30 bucks and wanted to share the experience. I called and confirmed it was still on despite weather and confirmed times and details to be same as last time. Me and friends agreed to carpool and after picking them up we were on our way 45 minutes south to Sonnys place and so excited! On arrival I saw friends and family in line who I invited and waited for my turn to reach the counter. When my party of four reached the counter I was greeted by a young lady who was seemingly amused to inform us that only 3 of the 4 of us could enter as they were at capacity ( 147 of 150 I think) I explained how I had planned this night and drove so far.. I asked her if there was anything that could be done or if waiting could make a difference. She told me that " I should have ordered online and there was nothing she could do.. it's not worth waiting because they sold many tickets online and were expecting more arrivals - I should have ordered online." Before leaving I did something I have never done before in my life.. I asked to speak to a manager. With an eye roll a loud sigh and a SMILE the young lady turns around to a young man in the hall behind her and Sarcastically told our story as if we were being rude or unruly. I assure you we were not.. I work in customer service and sales and I was just hoping to find someone with an idea or resolution or maybe a sliver of empathy to talk to. The young man told me there was nothing we can do and that I should of ordered online. I felt embarrassed and defeated. I called my friend and some family that were in transit from western and Central MA. To let them know the night was canceled and apologized for their wasted time and gas. Perhaps an employee was going home or someone canceled or someone could think of some way we could of salvaged the night.. even some kind of effort shown at all to try to ask maybe another manager for an idea.. would of felt better... I feel very disappointed and embarrassed that after weeks of hyping up your business I was treated so poorly. I know safety is important and should always be taken seriously.. but the indifference and immaturity that I was greeted with was horrible and embarrassing. Customer service not existant and inexperienced management offered nothing in consolation except the advice of ordering online next time.. I wanted to visit with my kids and cousins to see the other activities your venue offers in the summer . But I may just take my business elsewhere as I was told to do last night. Customer service training and more experienced management would go a long way.
