Worst experience of my life. I decided to use these guys after reading all the wonderful reviews. Items were stolen and they blatantly denied it. They also took a deposit which was supposed to be released after the move but that never happened even after I had called multiple times and even emailed proof. The gentleman who i dealt with, Jeff Anderson is not trustworthy and very unprofessional. To prospective clients, proceed at your own risk.

This moving company is terrible! Do not hire or work w/Tri State Moving! They overcharge by hundreds of dollars, while changing the rate mid-move, BEFORE they unpack your items. So you have to accept their new terms or else they’ll hold your items hostage. See other reviews about that. I’m filing a complaint w/both the BBB & the US DOT - these scam artists shouldn’t be in business any more, and they should be tried for their financial crimes. At the very least, any customer they ripped off should receive a refund. WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!

I have moved every year or 2 years since 2013 and I have used different movers and I can say hands down these are the best movers I have ever used! The 2 Professional men that came to move my 1 bedroom apartment from Rockville, MD to my new house in Walkersville, MD did a phenomenal job! They were quick, and moved items fast (not the lets move slow to get more money game that some movers do) they even came with all the right tools to dismantle my tv that was mounted on the wall. I also asked if they could take some furniture to the trash for me that they disassembled that as well. These 2 men with Tri-state movers need the 2 man team award of the year! Very professional and respectful men! I also want to give a shout out to Thomas, as when I was calling around to various movers and moving companies, I went based on a feeling, Thomas out of all the people I called showed exceptional customer service and gave great information about moving is why I chose TriState movers. He reassured me that he would send me some smart and hardworking people and he exceeded my expectations! Thank you very much!

I could not have been happier hiring Tri-State Moving and Storage. In the middle of COVID_19, I had to move across the country while not being at home. Tri-State worked with me through the whole process. They professionally packed all of my items – especially fragile items such as art or expensive furniture – and moved it in their vehicle to their storage facility where they transferred it to a P.O.D. so it could be shipped cross country. They were organized, responsible, professional, and expert. More than that, they demonstrated real empathy and care. I was extremely happy to pay them for their work. Not only did they take care of absolutely everything but they also helped me with complex particulars in a way that showed me they were worth their value. 10/10 will use again. 10/10 would recommend.

Tristate sucks please whatever u do make sure that u use these people if u pay a deposit. I paid a 100.00 deposit because I thought I would need them. My grandson father decided to move me in June so I asked for my deposit back because I no longer needed them. As of today October 29, 2024 I have not received my deposit money back after I was told they would return it. All I'm saying Do Not Trust these guys their a RIP off. I really needed my money back and they turned their back on me. Now when I call someone hung the phone up on me. Not good for business. Their excuse was they are not going to pay me back is because I told on them what they did to me. I wouldn't do that if they did the right thing and return my deposit back.
