Unfortunately, this complaint is inaccurate and unwarranted. Personally, I have used career management services like the Barrett Group (including the Barrett Group) five times. There is a very simple principle affecting client success: if you (the client) do the required work, you will very likely have a positive outcome. If you do not, you probably will not be successful. For thirty years now we always explain to our clients, You have to move your feet. As of mid-June 2020, despite the current pandemic, 38 of our clients have landed executive jobs in the past 10 weeks because they moved their feet. I worked with the Barrett Group for over a year BL: they are an amateur recruiting service trying to pose as a career coach with little follow through and no accountability. Terrible ROI; I personally encourage you to go elsewhere

I have read the fantastic reviews of this Company, but my personal experience was nothing alike. I retained TBG over a year ago, months before the Covid pandemic. They took a large deposit and we agreed to one of their sponsored packages. We began with the career coaching part which was outsourced and totally worthless, with an absolute junior individual that didn't really understand what she was doing. TBG staff itself is very professional, but they were not timely in responses or communications, did not put in the effort that was expected or agreed upon, and ultimately, we cancelled the agreement. Or I tried to. They had taken a very sizable deposit from me and did not return it, or even a portion of it; fought credit card chargebacks, etc...but ultimately stopped servicing me and ended the communications due to lack of performance. Today, a year later, a member of their team is sending me a message congratulating me on a position and asking for their fees. SMH.

Thank you so very much to the entire team at TBG for the time and effort that you and others put into my career transition. In particular, I would like to thank my Executive Career Consultant, who has been an exceptional career coach and guide, and has helped in greatly not only in my job search but as an overall career professional. He was truly knowledgeable about the job market (especially in the technology field), including avenues and strategies for job search and interviewing and negotiation techniques. He helped me give my best effort in multiple interviews. He also has a friendly and considerate personality, which are ideal traits for a career coach. Ive been profoundly grateful for the opportunity to benefit and learn from the Barrett Groups expertise and appreciated the direction they provided. Many structural developments at my former employer told me that it was time to look for an organization where I would be able to make a difference. The initial Clarity program helped me to further focus on what I wanted and needed from my career change. Absolutely not worth the money. They over promise and under deliver at every step along the way. While they produced the deliverables they said that they would, the quality of the deliverables were subpar and didnt add value to finding a new job. I also wouldnt trust the statistics they quote about placement, as I was never even contacted to see if Id found a new job so theres no way that they sucess percentages can be accurate. Stay away from this company
