Travis was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. He was the third or fourth realtor we met through Trulia/Zillow/etc. and he was obviously smart so we chose him as our realtor. We told him we were probably only starting to consider a house, and he was still just as helpful as before we told him. He spotted a house that pretty much perfectly matched what we said we wanted, and he emailed us about it within hours of the listing going public. On his recommendation, we immediately put a time-limited offer and got the house for probably 15-20k less than what it might have sold for if more offers had time to get submitted. It's our first house, and it's awesome - if we didn't run into Travis, it's very unlikely that we'd be this happy about our living place.

My husband and I recently bought our first house with the help of both Sue and Travis Derby. We highly recommend either one. Travis showed us many houses and stressed how we needed to make sure it was "the one" so we wouldn't be stuck with something we hated in a couple years. He was also great at pointing things out with a house that could become issues down the road. Travis took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for which I feel is very important in an agent who is helping you make such a big decision. It was clear he wasn't going for the quick sale. We worked with Sue when Travis was unavailable with her showing us a few houses but in the end helping us write and understand the offers we submitted. She made it less intimidating and even stayed late to help us write our first offer. That house ended up having 11 offers the first day with ours not being accepted but in end that was a blessing in disguise since not long after she showed us our dream home which we are happily settling into. We are grateful to them both.

Sue and Travis were patient and professional with us. We were looking for property in the Milwaukee area but lived 100+ miles away so it wasnt always easy to drop everything and view a property. The made that work for us and only sent us properties to review that fit our criteria. We never felt they tried to upsell us and in fact were quick to point out reasons why we shouldnt consider a property that we had not thought of. We appreciated that as we were leaving a house and looking for a condo so it was a significantly different experience for us. They were both helpful and responsive to our needs and in the end we are very happy with our purchase. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a realtor.

Travis and Sue Derby of Shorewest worked with us over about a 6 month period while we plotted our relo from MN. While we might have been a bit more high maintenance than most, they didn't tire after running us around from Bayview to Oconomowoc to Eagle. I think we saw 70 homes. The value this team offered was immeasurable. They helped us hone our geographic scope, but we might have surprised them in the end by choosing a less rural location than we thought we wanted. We now call Wauwatosa home, and wouldn't change a thing. I would strongly reccomend this realty team because of their market knowledge, trustworthiness and patience.

My wife and I used Travis to purchase a home in April 2013. We were stuck in an underwater condo for a lot longer than we wanted to be so once we were able to purchase a house we wanted it to be prefect and the process to go smoothly. Travis was able to help us with both. He responded to my questions extremely fast and had knowledgeable answers for all of them. He could tell what we were looking for in a house from our reactions and knew as soon as we did when we found the perfect house. He also followed up multiple times after the sale to make sure things were running smoothly. He didn't move on as soon as the transaction was complete. We wanted an energetic realtor who knew the market and the ins and outs of real estate and we found that with Travis. My wife recommened him to a co-worker who decided to go with Travis after meeting with other realtors. I look forward to working with Travis in the future when we sell our condo and will continue to recommend him to others.
