BMW have manufactured their bikes so that TFT screens can be removed by thieves in seconds (you literally just pull it off), failing to take basic steps to prevent this despite being fully aware of the problem for two years. Such thefts are now rampant across London and other parts of the UK (I understand due to parts within the screen). Replacing the screen costs 1700 including labour (the recipients of which are BMW of course) and the bike cannot be used without it (in fact it is positively dangerous and illegal if you try). This safety-critical information is deliberately withheld from buyers at the point of purchase (email chain to prove it, so no bs reply please). So I am warning people now...if you really want to put money into the hands of this shoddy and unethical company (I never will be again) , please buy one of the very cheap aftermarket protection devices to stop your TFT screen from being stolen, because BMW have deliberately decided not to supply one themselves or warn you about the problem. It will save you 1700 (and maybe even prevent an accident).

The virus delayed my Adventure service for obvious reasons But Tim and Tony kept me updated and when it was safe to do so a well laid plan was in place and my service was completed with well executed precision. In my opinion the best BMW motorad service centre in UK and I have tried a few... Well done Park Lane service centre.
