As a person who likes her customer service, I believe in full disclosure and this review is based on one interaction on the telephone with Jason, who is in charge of sales. I have been dreaming about getting a motorcycle for over 15 years and so I have a bit of product knowledge as well as read a lot. As I have just returned to California, I've decided that I would look into finally fulfilling this dream and shop around. After sending for a quote, I was contacted by Jason, who I was finally able to talk to today. I have a gravelly voice so when he asked me what he could do for me, "sir", I quickly corrected him with "That's ma'am." He apologized and I asked him several questions. My original inquiry was in reference to the GS650 F, which I knew wasn't a 2015 model and was upgraded to a GS700 F. So when I saw that was an option on the New Century website, I wanted to ask about that. I asked about that and all he did reply was "I know it's all very confusing." No, it is not. Explain why there is that mistake online (or if it is one). I also know that the F series is better in terms of torque and a smoother ride. And I had also mentioned this before he went on to say that he would prefer me to come in to the store and get on the 700, which he claimed I would be happier with in the long run for the smoother ride, again calling me "sir." I called him out again and he apologized but this was getting rather tiring. Upon mentioning that I still had to get my licences, as I was recently back, he then mentioned that he was with another customer and sounded like he wanted to get rid of me as fast as possible. I asked him to please remember that I am a woman to which he replied "I apologize twice." I did not hear if he said "apologized" but if he did, that is not acceptable. Regardless of which bike I do end up going with, I would like to mention that if Jason could not be troubled to remember basic factors about his customers, I will forget to consider giving him my business.
Great customer service. Staff there was very helpful and not pushy at all. Purchase of two bikes from New Century were easy and hassle free. Highly recommend this dealership!
This review pertains to the service department where two weeks ago (Tuesday Apr 21) I dropped off my Zero DSR after hearing some unusual belt noises. Two days later I called for an update and they hadn't touched it yet. On the 4th day MGR Gerardo called and said the battery checked fine and they would look at the motor next. Wednesday the next week I called and left a message for an update and no reply. Friday talked to a nice girl who said he would call me. No reply. Saturday I get a text from Khloe who said Gerardo would update me on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went with no word from them. I've wasted two weeks waiting and they have still not diagnosed my Zero and I no longer have faith in them. I'm picking up my bike tomorrow. If there is an update, I'll add it here. They get two stars because at the very least, they are polite. They are either ill equipped to service Zeros or don't want the business or don't care.
