It was ok. The tickets were overpriced for the cinema (9.50). There wasnt any decent snacks (no popcorn). The seats were barely comfortable. The screen in screen one was a good size and the sound was immersive so came out of the film fairly satisfied.
I really enjoy coming to Home: a theatre, cinema, bar and restaurant, all under one roof? Yes please. Although I loved and do miss HOME's predecessor (Cornerhouse my beloved <3), it's now a much bigger venue, therefore having more available/on offer to you as a patron. There's always a great selection of shows and film (that you can only see in a limited number of establishments across the city) and, along with helpful staff, a calming atmosphere and a little shop where you can buy specialist magazines etc, it all makes HOME a cool place to visit :)
