Hi Elizabeth, I am sorry that you are not happy with us for some reason, if it is because we do not have a store location (and Google keeps listing our address as if it was a store) please keep in mind that we are an online only business and do everything via mail order to keep our overhead down.

Dealing with John from the beginning of the process to the end was amazing. He answered all of my questions in a timely manner and stayed in contact with me for over 6 weeks as I made my gem choice. John and his work are above and beyond! Incredible quality all the way around. I feel so lucky to have found John after giving up on getting a stone for my wedding ring. The rigor that is apparent in his lapidary art carries through in the way he conducts business (quick and thorough responder to emails, generous with information and effort to help you find what you want, no pressure selling). When you see his work in person, you really appreciate his precision and artistry. I have so much respect for him as an artist and as a business person. If only all business ran like his! Fingers crossed I'll be a lifelong customer.

Im new to purchasing gems and found John Dyer on my search for the perfect gem for my wedding ring. It was scary ordering something online that you didnt have a clue about and not to mention....what if I didnt like it. John and his team (Bill) :) made it so easy to order online and return what ever I didnt want. My first time ordering I purchased three gems, I didnt find one in that order so I returned them all and ordered another five gems. I found the perfect one and returned the rest. They have a detailed section on the website on how to order and return. It really is easy. Plus if you have questions about anything they are super responsive and a lot of help. You will receive your refund right away, the refund doesnt show up on your credit card for about a week, so dont panic. My overall experience was really great and I would recommend them to everyone!
