Hi Jake I am sad to see your one star review of our business. I know you ordered a hot tub 3 months ago and due to covid, all hot tub production, worldwide, has been delayed. We refunded your deposit. I see your partner, Madisyn Fisher left a one star review for us too. I am sure you both are disappointed and we sincerely apologize the tub didn't come in as we both expected. Andrea Reedy President Yes I agree you should have been notified earlier and more often with updates, even though the manufacturer wasn't giving us updates. We did acknowledge your call and leave you messages, when Tom asked if you received them you said you "get a lot of messages". I apologize we didn't get through to you and didn't have the tub you ordered, or an acceptable replacement for you.

Hot tub delivery time frame was not the issue, yes it was disappointing. What became the issue was the service or lack of proper customer for a $9,000 product. And the offer of a used scratched up hot tub for $200 less then a brand new one after having to waite 3 months before someone actually acknowledge my call. I was provided with zero notification of issues with delivery and I had to call in to even find out the hot tub would not be delivered on time. I waited to call in till the week after it was supposed to be delivered which was a little over 2 months after date of order.
Oh no! I am very sorry that was your experience here at The Place. Definitely not what want. Knowing my team, none of them would be intentionally rude. However, what is important is your perception. On behalf of our team, our sincere apologies Phyllis.

The sales person was very rude. Would not recommend. Apparently they do not want to make any sales on fireplaces. Will never go back

Mr Tibbs, I left a message on your phone. I apologize for the delay in getting your revised quote; you should have had it by now. We do value your business but I realize the delay makes it appear that we don't care. It is the height of fireplace season and everyone wants their information quickly, but that is no excuse and you have waited longer than acceptable. I know your wife did not want to work with the hearth expert who told you gas appliances could not be stored in same space as a heating stove so your information was transferred to another person here to handle, who hasn't got it done. However, the hearth manager will be here tomorrow and you will have all the information you need to make a final decision if you would like to business with us or elsewhere. Salesman was miss leading and rude. Tried to move pass the problems and continue doing business with this company. Apparently they dont want my business.After being told multiple times they would reach out to me with more information. I have been ghosted. Im happy to take my business elsewhere.
